Welcome to the abstract submission site for the 2009 Montana AWRA/UM River Center
Conference, Waters that Cross Divides,
to be held September 30-2, at the the Holiday Inn Parkside, Missoula,
Montana. This site will be used for submission of all abstracts and has been
designed for ease of use and efficiency in communication.
IMPORTANT! We welcome abstracts on all relevant water research. To
assure each abstract receives the attention it deserves and so we can properly prepare for
the conference, please honor the June 16, 2009 deadline. Abstracts submitted after that date may
not be considered for conference presentation.
Completing the Online Submission Form
Gather the Necessary Information: There are two parts to the
submission process. The first part asks for contact information about the actual
presenter. The second asks for information about the abstract
itself and any additional authors.
You will need to have the following information on hand to complete the submission process:
- Name, title, affiliation, full mailing address, email address,
phone and fax of the presenter.
- Knowledge whether the presenter would like to moderate and/or judge
at the conference.
- Name, title, affiliation, full mailing address, email address, phone
and fax of the primary author -- if different from the presenter.
- Name, title, affiliation, full mailing address, email address, phone
and fax of any additional authors.
- Status of all the above -- student or non-student.
- Type of presentation (oral presentation or poster).
- Title of the abstract.
- Abstract [500 words of less -- this can be cut and pasted from
a word processing program].

When you have all of the information on hand, click the blue "Submit Abstract Here" button near the bottom of this page.
Confirming your Submission: After you fill in
the information and submit the form, a confirmation page will appear on your
screen indicating the date and time your material was received. You will be able
to check the information for accuracy and completeness. Please print or save
this confirmation for your records!
If a confirmation page does not appear at the end of your submission please
email the Website Administrator. We will
send you confirmation of what we received, and work with you to make sure your
abstract is submitted correctly and in its entirety.
Making Changes: If you find that something
needs to be changed or added, email the Website Administrator indicating
the Abstract ID number from your confirmation page, and the intended change(s).
You will receive an email confirming that we received your change request,
and that the necessary changes have been made to your abstract submission. You
will also receive an updated confirmation page.
We look forward to receiving
your abstract by the June 16, 2009 deadline, and to a great conference
in Missoula!
