Water Hubs at Montana Campuses

The Montana Water Center, located on the Montana State University campus in Bozeman, supports water research not only at its home campus, but also at partner institutions: the University of Montana in Missoula and Montana Tech in Butte. You can view the water work conducted at the three campuses at these and many other sites.

What's POU-RO?

The Water Center has collaborated with Dr. Chuck Moretti of the University of North Dakota to develop new training software for consulting engineers. "Point-of-use reverse osmosis systems: Complying with arsenic regulations in small drinking water systems" is an interactive training tool to help engineers bring small drinking water systems into compliance with recent arsenic regulations by using point-of-use reverse osmosis technology. Go to the POU-RO Web Site to find how to get a copy free of charge.

Something Happened on the Way to the Forum

Do you have a great idea or itching question about water quality testing? Whirling disease? Ground-water supplies? Urban sprawl and water availability? Visit the Montana Water Community Forum and register to be part of many water-related discussions.

By popular demand, we're rerunning some of the water science articles produced last year by water quality specialist, Michelle White, for the Blue Water Task Force.

This one is entitled "Aquatic Plants Watch Their Weight."
