Welcome to the website for the 7th International Symposium on Fish Physiology, Toxicology and Water Quality!

Participants of the 7th International Symposium.

The symposium convened on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Tallinn, Estonia. It was a great success; scientists and students from 15 nations gathered to discuss current work related to eutrophication and hypoxia, as they affect both freshwater and marine fishes. Manuscripts from the symposium will be published in a proceedings volume and available for download from this website during 2004.

Symposium sponsors included the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Estonian Academy of Sciences, the Estonian Agricultural University, the International Section of the American Fisheries Society and Montana State University (USA). Members of the Organizing Committee included: Gretchen Rupp and Michelle White, Montana State University; Arvo Tuvikene, Estonian Agricultural University; George Bailey, US Environmental Protection Agency; Dave Randall, University of British Columbia and City University of Hong Kong, and John Steffensen, University of Copenhagen.
